460 017 - Anti-Flame Fire Protection, 500ml in spray bottle

Item number: 460017

460 017 - Anti-Flame Fire Protection, 500ml in spray bottle; Biological fire protection as water-based solution, based on organic and inorganic salts. (Not a hazardous material!) Especially when using paper artworks in public spaces or for lamps made of paper etc., the use of paper is usually problematic for reasons of fire protection. The Anti-Flame now offers a solution for equipping papers according to fire class B1 (DIN 4102). There are many different types of paper; thickness, grammage, surface quality, absorbency and moisture absorption are just some of the essential parameters that influence the treatment with BBT Anti-Flame. For this reason, it is particularly important to treat papers with a sense of proportion. Treatment with BBT-Antiflame® can cause papers to become slightly darker, if they are well soaked. Before treatment, it is advisable to make a test sample or to test in an inconspicuous place. Instructions for treating paper with BBT-Antiflame® fire protection spray in the 500 ml hand pump bottle: The papers are to be sprayed carefully from a distance of about 20 cm. The papers should be sprayed well damp to wet. For a DIN A4 sheet of paper, 4 - 6 pump shots are usually sufficient, which corresponds to about 3-5 ml/DIN A4 page - depending on the water absorption capacity of the paper. If slightly whitish, crystalline spots appear on edges or surfaces after treatment, remove them dry, e.g. with a soft brush.
