Maschine made paper (Kikaizuki washi)

The name of KIKAIZUKI WASHI is given to machine papers of the Japanese type. KIKAIZUKI WASHI is further divided into MARUAMI (paper from cylinder mould machines), KEISHA (paper from inclined wire machines) and TAMMO (paper from Fourdrinier machines). KIKAIZUKI WASHI is not to be equated with YOSHI, which refers to machine papers of Western (European/American) make, which are produced in industrial mass production (like ordinary (office) paper).
